This course is designed to be an introduction to both the computer applications at Dover-Sherborn as well as an introduction to the Industrial art, and science and technology programs. Topics in AutoCAD are presented in an easy to understand sequence enabling the student to become confident and competent when using computer assisted drafting in this course. The text book contains a detailed explanation of commands and how to use them in solving design problems. At the completion of this course students will be able to use commands to make drawings, create text, make and insert symbols, dimension a drawing, create 2D objects and solids.
